DWF’s Epona

On Cue

Pedigree

Epona was bred by Lise Moller of Deadwood Farm in Morrisons Gully, Victoria and is out of the chestnut mare The Tennessee Waltz (IMP) and sired by the black and white pinto Moonlight High Status (IMP).

This mare is all business ready to get on with the job at hand with style.

Moonlight Hy-Status Imp

Epona came to us in 2017 with Levi already in utero and proved herself an excellent mother. After providing us with a second superb foal (Torrens Run Moonlight Emirah) she was broken into saddle and has since been a wonderful pleasure mount.

We are hoping to continue in endurance with her in the future.

Torrens Run Moonlight Emirah

Arabian Sporthorse Mare

Emirah is pretty special as she is dual registered and is the granddaughter from our adored matriarch Narrawin Shareefa (by Tintalle Golden Demon and out of Talquah Seren). Without Shareefa, our love for American Saddlebreds may never have started.

Her sire is the homebred Torrens Run Shahdik, making her 37.5% Arabian heritage. From Shahdik, Emirah inherits Arabian horse greats like Padrons Psyche, Arim, Simeon Sadik and one of Australia’s most popular show mares Sereefa. To any Arabian lover it is easy to see Simeon Sadik represented when you look at her.

Emirah was a star the moment she was born. Such a delightful and beautiful filly at every stage of her development and true to her pedigree, her temperament has meant she has been so easy to love and care for.

Emirah is of course out of our incredible broodmare DWF’s Epona On Cue which also makes her half sister to Torrens Run Hy-Command.

In 2025 she was started under saddle and we have ambitions to do endurance and shows in the future.
